Invasion, a series for AppleTV+ by Simon Kinberg and David Weil delves into the lives of five ordinary characters spread across the globe in the face of an impending apocalyptic alien invasion.
All work displayed is property of Territory Studio.
Invasion
One of the human stories the series tells follows Captain Hinata Murai, an astronaut ready to embark on a year-long mission with the Japanese space programme (JASA) to stay on the International Space Station.
Territory Studio was commissioned to design the screen graphics for a number of sets including the mission control room, the satellite communications station, and the space shuttle interior sets.
I was brought onto the project as to assist with the design, layout, and visualizations for various screens throughout series one.
Shuttle
A key challenge was designing an interface for the shuttle interior to connect the narrative between Earth and the space station for one of the main characters storylines.
MRI
We designed a series of user interfaces to display a characteres brain activity to drive the narrative for one of the main storylines in the series.
