Territory Studio was commisioned to create an introduction piece for the upcoming battle royale: Off the grid to introduce a series of cinematic teasers for the game.

Below are hero moments of the animation I used to guide the visual aesthetic of the piece, crafting a visual tone to introduce the audience to the cinematic universe of Off the Grid.

I was responsible for developing the design and motion from concept through to final delivery.

Keyframes

I approached each frame like a painting, layering graphics, and assets in a way that would create interesting shapes and a design language to fit the high-tech/cybernetic nature of the game’s aesthetic.
